Our Mission
The Northwest District of the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference covers a broad geographic area, with 76 pastors serving 87 churches in Berks, Columbia, Lancaster, Lebanon, Northumberland, and Schuylkill counties.
The mission of the Northwest District is to empower its local churches and agencies to be in mission by offering support and resources for:
Individual ministries in discerning God's call in their local settings
Developing lay and clergy leadership for the transformational tasks of ministry in the new millennium
Shared ministries which serve more effectively together, rather than alone
Through using:
Circuit
Group Cluster
District Conference
Local, Regional, and Ecumenical Connections
For the purpose of:
Calling people to new life in Christ
Nurturing disciples
Addressing needs locally and globally
Ministering more effectively and meaningfully together, rather than alone
